  :: Guidelines for Poster Presentations ::

Before preparing any poster, the authors are requested to read the following guidelines carefully:

  • All posters must be prepared in Landscape format (Portrait format with the height greater than the width is NOT acceptable).
  • The paper size for all posters should be Standard A1: 84.09 cm x 59.46 cm (Width x Height).
  • 5 cm margins should be left on all sides when preparing any poster.
  • The title of the paper should appear in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Names of the authors should be in Upper/Lower case.
  • All posters will be displayed on especially made stands for viewing by interested delegates. Therefore, no change in format is allowed.
  • For good readability, it is suggested that the minimum font size used is 18, Times New Roman. Wherever possible, graphs/charts rather than text matter should be displayed.
  • Only one poster per paper will be allowed. Only in exceptional circumstances, should two posters be used for a single paper. In such cases, the first poster should be clearly marked with the word "continued" on the bottom right hand side.
  • A sample poster format is given in this circular (the same was also included in the Second Circular).
